Subtitle Shifter

Subtitles showing too early or too late? Enter an offset in seconds — positive moves subtitles later, negative moves them earlier — and every cue is resynced instantly.

Input

Positive = subtitles appear later · Negative = subtitles appear earlier

Output

How do I know which offset to use?

Play the video and note how far off the first line is. If a line that should appear at 0:10 shows up at 0:13, your subtitles are 3 seconds early — enter +3 to push everything later. If they show up at 0:07, enter -3. The offset applies to every cue equally, so one measurement fixes the whole file.

Does shifting work on VTT and ASS files too?

Yes — the shifter auto-detects SRT, WebVTT and ASS input and re-exports as SRT or VTT. All timings are shifted, including the end timestamps, so gaps between cues are preserved exactly.
